Over the past decade or so, there have been many projects. here is a listing of the most current side projects.
The Inner Banks: A brand new project of David Gould's original material. Beautifully orchestrated and supple soundcapes that could only come from a person with true appreciation for all types of American music.
The Bootleg Remedy: The Brooklyn-based group was started back in 1998 out of Williamsburg and has been making audiences smile nice and wide and tap their feet ever since with a cross section of music, from western swing, to gypsy jazz, to bluegrass, to hot jazz, to just plain old country music. The core of the group is: David Gould (Vocals, Banjo), Me (Guitar, Vocals), Andrew Innis (Musical Saw, Washboard, Harmonica, Vocals), Jim Mansfield (Drums), Michael Gomez (Lap Steel, Electric Guitar).
Bellyfire: Bill Mann's music is everything that pop/rock ought to be. catchy songs with honest production qualities. This is straight ahead, hook filled rock music. You will enjoy it. Bill has an excellent voice and he is one of the best guitar players in the city.
The No Name Allstars: A Project with Peter Imbres of his indie rock stylings. Pete is also in the process of putting together a solo project that I will be sitting in on. There is one thing I know about Pete, he has no shortage of great ideas—from songs to sounds to textures, you will like what Pete brings to the world.
